Calcifer Pumpkin by NelmaThyria Calcifer Pumpkin by NelmaThyria
I think he's a little bit recognizable!

Calcifer belongs to Studio Ghibli & Diana Wynne Jones

Well, I don't know that I could give instructions exactly...all I did was draw it on the pumpkin and then carve it out. I did use an x-acto knife for the transparent-ish part, though.

Why thank you! Sadly, he had to be thrown out the other day because he was starting to get moldy...and Turbo tried to eat his top. :XD:
But at least you were able to be in his presence while he was still alive.

That's too bad. My Totoro is getting moldy too! Oh well, all good things must come to an end, I suppose.

Thank you! Well, the second one IS glowing...cuz there's a candle in it...but I know what you mean, how the light partially comes through the scraped-out part. I was surprised that it worked!
